The annual Tourism and Hospitality Awards took place at a sparkling ceremony at Leicester’s Athena on Thursday 30 November 2023.
At the 12th edition of the prestigious annual awards, organised by Leicestershire Promotion Stapleford Park Country House Hotel won the ‘best large hotel’ category as well as staff member Karolina Drazewska being named winner in the ‘best waiting staff’ category. In addition, head housekeeper Marta Matzutzi was commended by judges in the ‘rising star’ category.

Other winners of the awards include Leicester and Leicestershire hotels, b&bs, restaurants, pubs, events, and visitor attractions. These awards are the regional heat of the national Visit England Awards for Excellence. Many of the winners will go forward as Leicestershire’s nominations for the national awards.
